Lo Switch TP-Link TL-SG1218MPE è una soluzione di rete gestita (Easy Smart) ad alte prestazioni, progettata per piccole e medie imprese, uffici e punti vendita che richiedono una rete affidabile, sicura e alimentata tramite cavo Ethernet (PoE+). Questo switch offre una combinazione ideale di connettività Gigabit in rame e fibra, gestione di base via web e la flessibilità del Power over Ethernet Plus.
Dotato di 16 porte Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 con supporto PoE+ (fino a 30W per porta, con un budget totale di 183W), consente di alimentare e collegare dispositivi come telecamere IP, punti di accesso wireless, telefoni VoIP e altri dispositivi di rete, eliminando la necessità di prese di corrente separate. Le porte PoE+ garantiscono una distribuzione efficiente dell'alimentazione e dei dati tramite un unico cavo, semplificando l'installazione e riducendo i costi infrastrutturali.
Per la connettività fibra ottica su lunghe distanze o come uplink di backup, lo switch integra 2 porte combo SFP (mini-GBIC) indipendenti, utilizzabili anche come porte Gigabit aggiuntive in rame inserendo il modulo SFP compatibile. La gestione "Easy Smart" avviene tramite un'intuitiva interfaccia web based che permette di configurare facilmente VLAN, QoS (Quality of Service) per prioritizzare il traffico, mirroring delle porte, controllo degli accessi e monitoraggio dello status del dispositivo e del budget PoE.
Il design include funzionalità di risparmio energetico, limitazione della velocità per porte, diagnostica del cavo e protezione da loop. L'architettura non-blocking garantisce throughput elevato a tutte le porte simultaneamente. È la scelta ottimale per costruire o espandere reti aziendali robuste, ordinate e pronte per il futuro.
